ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FORM

ABSTRACT FORMAT AND CONTENT:

Language: English

Presentation title: The title of the abstract should not exceed 30 words. Capitalize only the first letter of the first word of the title (unless for abbreviations or proper nouns) and do not end the title with a full stop (.).

Author(s): Include the first name and last name of each author in the order of their contribution and include their affiliation including city and country. 

Main text: The main body of the abstract should not exceed 1500 characters with spaces. Separate the main abstract text by subheadings into Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusions. Correctly formatted abstract text is as below
Introduction: (paragraph 1)
Methods: (paragraph 2)
Results: (paragraph 3)
Conclusion: (paragraph 4)

Presentation method: Choose the preferred presentation mode: oral or poster. Once submitted all abstracts will be reviewed by international scientific committee; however, only a limited number of oral-preference abstracts can be considered. The remainder will be evaluated for poster presentations. If you are not comfortable with presenting and responding to questions in English, you are encouraged to present a poster.
The scientific committee has the right to recommend your abstract to another topic and to the other format (oral/poster).

Abstract publishing: Accepted abstracts will be published as an online PDF abstract book and will not be printed. The abstract book will have an ISBN.

Authorts' certification: The abstract must contain primary scientific or clinical data that have not been published elsewhere. 
The abstract submitter is responsible for ensuring that all authors have read the abstract and agreed to be co-authors.
Submitted abstracts on human subjects must have ethical approval and state whether informed consent was obtained. Animal studies need to be approved by the relevant animal use committees.

NOTE! Before submitting your abstract, please carefully review the information, and pay particular attention to grammar, authors' names, and affiliations. The content will be published in the event's proceedings exactly as submitted.

Abstract review, selection, and publication
An international panel of experts representing all subspecialties and geographical diversity will review all abstracts received, based on scientific novelty and rigor.
The submitters will receive confirmation of acceptance for oral presentation, poster presentation, or a notice of rejection, by e-mail. No revisions can be made after the abstract deadline.
Authors of abstracts selected for oral presentation will be informed about the session and date of presentation, and presentation guidelines will be provided.
Poster presenters will be informed about the date of the poster session and will receive guidelines for preparation and presentation.
All accepted abstracts will be published online and will be made available on the congress website by the time of the meeting.

Withdrawal policy
If authors wish to withdraw the abstracts from presentation or publication, they are requested to send an e-mail to esa2026@publicon.ee. Withdrawn abstracts cannot be presented or published.
